Specifically, Ghost of Tsushima’s release date is now pinned for summer 2020, and players should expect a more precise day in the upcoming months. While players await this exact date, and more video footage of the PS4 exclusive, they can spend some time with the Ghost of Tsushima screenshots that are featured below. These screenshots were shared just after the title’s presence at The Game Awards 2019, and they will give fans that are captivated by Ghost of Tsushima’s aesthetic a bit more to enjoy.

With respect to what players will see in these Ghost of Tsushima screenshots, many of them focus on the game’s striking vistas. Indeed, it appears that the world that has been built for Ghost of Tsushima is a gorgeous one, replete with flower-filled fields, sweeping bodies of water, and many more visual delights. Additionally, the screenshots show off how players will navigate this spectacular world, as The Ghost is seen deftly riding a horse through a dry plain as well as carefully descending a rocky crag with his bare hands in these images.

That said, the experience of Ghost of Tsushima will not be entirely one of tranquil landscapes and peaceful traversal, and the screenshots shown here give a taste of the game’s other face: its violence. In one of the images, for example, The Ghost is seen descending, with sword drawn, upon some unwitting adversaries, which is sure to be a tactic incorporated into Ghost of Tsushima’s combat.

Prior to today’s reveals, it had been over one year since players had gotten a close look at Ghost of Tsushima, and hopefully what was shown tonight will leave these patient fans satisfied. While it is currently not clear when players will see even more of Ghost of Tsushima’s beautiful graphics, its looming release date means that it will certainly not be another year-long wait.
