The latest trailer for Ghost Recon Breakpoint revealed a bit more about Cole D. Walker’s Wolves faction that has taken over the Skell Tech island of Aurora. Serving as a bit of a manifesto, Walker’s speech to his army is an attempt to prepare them to fight their former friends and allies. He mentions that they still work for the machine and what the Wolves are attempting to do is what the world needs. The trailer was followed by Jon Bernthal and a dog, to talk more about his experience on the title.
The second trailer showcased the other side of the coin with Nomad and his Ghost Squad facing off against the hostile technology utilized by the Wolves. Hostile drones, heavily armored trucks, remote piloted tanks, and more await players. Of course, stealth and weapons also serve as the backbone of the experience like the game’s predecessors, many of which are showcased in the trailer as well.
Rounding out the E3 2019 reveal, Ubisoft confirmed that solo players would no longer be facing the threats of the hostile world alone as AI teammates were being included once again. For players who want an early taste at the third person action title, Ubisoft is holding a beta test on September 5 which players can sign up online for a chance to be included.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint releases October 4, 2019 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
