Mission accomplished, as New York earned its first win of 2017 with a shocking upset victory over Denver, 23-10.

The Broncos, meanwhile, fell to 3-2 in the AFC West. The silver lining for Denver was the fact that division-leading Kansas City also lost Sunday.

Giants vs. Broncos: Score, results, highlights

(All times Eastern)

11:36 p.m.: Final. Giants 23, Broncos 10

11:33 p.m.: Field goal. Aldrick Rosas made a 40-yard field goal to put the icing on the cake that was an impressive Giants win. 23-10, Giants

11:23 p.m.: Touchdown. Trevor Siemian waited too long to make his best throw of the game. He managed to fit his pass into double coverage and into the hands of Jeff Heuerman for a 13-yard touchdown pass, which cut New York’s lead to 10. The score capped a seven-play, 58-yard drive. 20-10, Giants

11:08 p.m.: Turnover on downs. The Giants made what felt like a game-sealing goal-line stand with just over eight minutes to play in the fourth quarter. The Broncos were denied a touchdown on fourth-and-goal from the 1-yard line after an 11-play, 84 yard drive. The ruling on the field stood upon replay review.

10:48 p.m.: Turnover. Demaryius Thomas made a catch and turned upfield … then fumbled. Janoris Jenkins, who stripped Thomas of the ball, also recovered it for the third forced turnover of the game. A nightmare game for the Broncos continued.

10:45 p.m.: End of third quarter.

10:25 p.m.: Field goal. Aldrick Rosas’ first career field goal attempt of 50-plus yards, a 51-yarder early in the third quarter, was good. It capped a quick drive — six plays, 30 yards — and extended New York’s lead over Denver: 20-3, Giants

9:55 p.m.: Halftime. Giants 17, Broncos 3

9:53 p.m.: Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian was ruled questionable to return with a left shoulder injury.

9:48 p.m.: Touchdown. Another huge mistake by Trevor Siemian, another interception, this time returned for a touchdown. Janoris Jenkins made Denver pay for Siemian’s ill-fated pass and returned the pick 43 yards for a score with just 48 seconds left in the first half. Siemian was injured on the play, and backup QB Brock Osweiler entered the game on the Broncos’ next series. 17-3, Giants

9:37 p.m.: Field goal. The Broncos were able to drive all the way to the Giants’ 10-yard line before their drive stalled, and Brandon McManus made a 28-yard field goal to get Denver on the board with 4:21 left in the first half. The key play of the drive was a 40-yard Trevor Siemian pass to Demaryius Thomas. 10-3, Giants

9:24 p.m.: Turnover. Trevor Siemian overthrew a pass intended for Demaryius Thomas, and the ball landed in the arms of Landon Collins, who returned the interception 21 yards to the Giants’ 35-yard line.

9:11 p.m.: Touchdown. How about those Giants? A 47-yard run by Orleans Darkwa provided the meat of a seven-play, 75-yard drive that ended when Eli Manning found rookie tight end Evan Engram for a 5-yard touchdown on third-and-2. 10-0, Giants

9:05 p.m.: End of first quarter.

8:42 p.m.: Field goal. A solid start for the Giants. After forcing a three-and-out on Denver’s first drive, New York drove deep into Broncos territory before the 69-yard drive stalled. Aldrick Rosas made a 25-yard field goal on the 13th play of the drive to give the Giants an early lead. 3-0, Giants

8:31 p.m.: Kickoff.

8:26 p.m.: The Giants won the coin toss and elected to defer to the second half.

7:48 p.m.: The Broncos took the field for pregame warmups wearing their all-blue uniforms for the first time in 2017. The Giants took the field a few minutes later.

6:55 p.m.: Inactives for Sunday night’s game were announced.
