Megalodon teeth can be up to 7 inches, although fossil finds usually measure between 3 and 5 inches, according to the Florida Museum of Natural History. The megalodon is thought to have become extinct around 3.6 million years ago. The earliest remains of the shark, considered one of the largest and most powerful predators to have lived, date back more than 20 million years....

Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut will launch on August 20, bundling together the base game and all the post-launch content in one package. The big draw is the addition of Iki island, which was previously leaked to be a Ghost of Tsushima standalone expansion. Instead of it being a standalone expansion, Iki Island will be part of Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, featuring a new story, a new location, new characters, and more....

Of course, with the coronavirus causing event cancellations, hardware shortages, and disrupting the video game industry in general, many players have worried that Ghost of Tsushima will be delayed, possibly pushed back by weeks or months. This fear has grown with the delays of the other major titles for the PS4, especially The Last of Us 2. Fortunately, PlayStation fans do not have to re-think their time set aside to play the game just yet, as it appears there is no delay planned for Ghost of Tsushima at the moment....

Giambi, 43, recently was at Double-A Akron for a minor league injury rehabilitation assignment. He said he's ready to play, but the Indians will wait until after the weekend, when they open a four-game series against the Kansas City Royals. Giambi took batting practice before Friday's series opener against Toronto. He said the time in the minors was good for his swing and a reminder of his path to the big leagues....

He wrote that he was “disappointed and disgusted that somebody would say the terrible things that were said!” The official Bucks Twitter account confirmed the hacking earlier Thursday and said an investigation is underway. Antetokounmpo’s brother Kostas, a forward on the Lakers, said on Twitter that the Greek Freak’s Twitter, phone, email and bank accounts were also hacked....

The City of Delray Beach shared a video that featured a slideshow of photos of the incident. According to the video caption, a contracted nuisance alligator trapper with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) was called to help remove the alligator, which was transferred to a farm. Tammy Sapp, a spokesperson with FWC told Newsweek in an email the agency receives calls about nuisance alligators throughout the year because alligators are active and visible whenever the weather is warm....

This makes getting hold of them an interesting affair. As sad as it might sound, summer is coming to a glorious end, and players will be able to spot changes on their island when the calendar turns to September in Animal Crossing. The first change, however, will be the shift in the flora and fauna of the island. The grass will turn into a lighter shade of green, different bushes will be available, and a new set of critters will make their way to the Animal Crossing island....

Piscotty appeared to stumble, and then he made a bad throw to home plate that allowed Alen Hanson to score the tying run. Oakland argued unsuccessfully that Melancon interfered with Piscotty and Hanson should be placed on third base....

The Giants won their fifth consecutive game Sunday with a 22-16 comeback victory over visiting Chicago. At 7-3, they are sitting pretty for a playoff berth with the top wild-card spot. It might be easy to not believe in Big Blue, given every victory has come in a one-possession game. They’ve been sloppy and one-dimensional offensively, and they’ve been inconsistent defensively. Their combined margin of victory is 24. Their combined margin of defeat is 23....

When Daniel Jones was drafted No. 6 overall in 2019, eyebrows were raised, glasses were dramatically removed, laughs were had. While analysts considered Jones a late first- or second-round prospect, the Giants took a very early chance on a kid who looked like he was auditioning for the role of a Manning brother in a direct-to-streaming biopic.
